Booking Process

We always arrive 15 to 30 minutes before your event starts. If there’s a prior booking scheduled, arrival might be slightly later. Don’t worry – we’re always on time. In such cases, we need less setup time because our fryers are already preheated.
If we’re unexpectedly delayed for any reason, we’ll inform you right away – no surprises.

The number of guests can be adjusted free of charge up to 7 days before your booking. Changes after that are still possible, of course.

There are two payment options. For private customers, payment is made in cash on-site before we start serving.
For business clients, you can pay in cash or via digital invoice afterwards. If you’d like an invoice, please mention this when requesting a quote.

If you cancel your booking up to 30 days before the event, no cancellation fee applies. For cancellations within 30 days of the event, the following fixed charges apply:

  • Less than 30 days: 25%
  • Less than 20 days: 50%
  • Less than 10 days: 75%
  • Less than 1 day: 100%

These cancellation fees reflect costs already incurred, such as perishable ingredients, staffing, and other logistics.

During the Booking / Event

You’ll need to provide your own waste bin for disposable items.
We can provide one upon request and take it back afterwards – just let us know in advance.

No, we serve chips and snacks in trays or cones, and we always bring cutlery and napkins with our fish and chips van.

Our fish and chips vans need a 230V power outlet on-site. Please ensure it’s a dedicated line to avoid overloading.
We do not require a water supply.

Snack on Site operates a range of vans, but we recommend allowing for these dimensions: 7 metres long, 4 metres wide, and 3.5 metres high.
If the van we send differs in size, we’ll let you know when we prepare your quote.

The width is needed to allow space when the serving hatch is open and we’re serving your guests.

We don’t work with fixed serving times. With your quote request, we’ll include a recommended serving duration based on your guest count, chosen package, and our experience.

The time we provide is always more than enough for everyone to enjoy unlimited fish and chips during the booking period.
